Today, various places in Kathmandu and Lalitpur have been affected by power outages. According to the Nepal Electricity Authority, maintenance work is being carried out to upgrade the Teku substation, which includes charging the Teku-Sitapaila 66 kV line and the Teku-Chaunsi 132 kV line. As a result, there will be power disruptions starting from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.
In the Bagmati feeder area, places such as Sano Pa Ram Mandir, Gusingal, Advance College, Amaravati, and Red Panda School will experience power disruptions. Similarly, in the Pulchowk feeder area, places like Balkhu, Health Post, Jhamsikhel, Pulchowk Chief of Army Staff Residence, and Thadodhunga will also be affected.
Under the Chamati feeder area, power interruptions will occur in parts of Gyan Tirth Marg, Kalimati Salik Chok, Chauni, Dallu, Bisheshwari, Swayambhu, Chamati, Kimdol, and Barud Khana. Additionally, in the Kirtipur feeder area, power disruptions will be experienced in Balkhu, Khasibajar, Tribhuvan University, Chobhar, Tau Daha, and Tyanla Phant.
Furthermore, under the Tripureshwar feeder area, there will be power disruptions in areas from Teku to Pachali Bhairav, Udhyog Banijya Sangh, Sukumbasi Basti, and World Trade Center region. In the Bhainsipati feeder area, power will be affected from Mahato Marg to Pushpalal Park, Dhalkeu Chok to Chhetrapati region, and from Teku to Vishnumati Khola.
The Nepal Electricity Authority has provided information that the work will be carried out during the scheduled time, and power supply will be resumed after the maintenance work is completed.
