LBRYC Triumphs in 2nd Ramechhap Cup Futsal Tournament, Akhil Krantikari Claims Second Place

Kathmandu – Likhu Bhuji Ramechhap Youth Club (LBRYC) has won the title of ‘2nd Ramechhap Cup Futsal Tournament’. Prajwal Poudel, General Secretary of Ramechhap-Kathmandu Journalist Society, informed that LBRYC won the title by defeating Akhil Krantikari 8-2 in the final match held in Kapan, Kathmandu on Sunday.

Similarly, Likhu Bhuji Ramechhap Youth Club (Livura) won the third place. Livura won the third place by defeating their friend Chia Adda by 6-4.

According to General Secretary Paudel, along with the title, Likhu Bhuji Ramechhap Youth Club (LBRYC) received 50,000 cash along with a shield. Likewise, Akhil Krantikari, who came second, got Rs. 30,000 and Likhu Bhuji Ramechhap Youth Club (Livura), who came third, got Rs. 20,000 and a medal award.

17 teams from all over Ramechhap district participated in the competition organized by Ramechhap-Kathmandu Journalist Society. The participating teams were divided into eight groups and the Leaguecom Knockout Tournament was conducted on Saturday and Sunday. A futsal tournament has been organized targeting individuals and organizations in Kathmandu Valley from Ramechhap district.

The winning team and players were distributed by National Sports Council Member Secretary Tanklal Ghising, Nepal Press Editor-in-Chief Matrika Paudel, Nepal Sports Federation (NECOS) Bagmati Province Committee President Sitaram Karki and others.

In the first edition, Aneraswaviyu won the title by defeating Likhu Bhuji Yuva Club Ramechhap 2-0 in a tribreaker.
