Kathmandu, 17 October. The amnesty of gangster Nike Yograj Dhakal, known as Regal, who was granted amnesty on the occasion of the 9th Constitution Day, has been revoked by the Supreme Court. The government granted amnesty to Regal, who was serving a prison sentence for the murder of Chetan Manandhar of Nepalgunj. Bharti Manandhar, Chetan’s wife, filed a petition in the Supreme Court against Regal’s amnesty. Just yesterday, the full bench of the Supreme Court canceled the amnesty of Dhakal. Besides, Dhakal has already been arrested from Nepalgunj yesterday evening.
