Amar Ujala Samvad was held in Gurugram, Haryana on Monday (September 2). Famous personalities from education, sports, religion and business as well as film world also participated in the program. Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut also participated in the event held at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Gurugram. During this, she spoke openly about the film industry along with her upcoming film ‘Emergency‘.
During the conversation, when Kangana was asked – What was the moment when you felt your views aligned with the BJP? In response, she said that such a thought came to her mind after Narendra Modi came.
She further said, we have suffered a lot of exploitation. We were told a lot…. People used to say – they don’t know English. They are from small towns…. Get them out of the industry. We are very sad to see all this. She added, ‘We are very disappointed to see the plight of the Indian people.’
Kangana further said, ‘How long will you endure? Our situation was bad and we started to think – leave the country. I even bought a house in America in 2009-10.”She added, ‘After that people became aware and we got mental and constitutional freedom by electing people for this country.’
On the work front, Kangana will soon be seen in the film Emergency. She plays the role of Indira Gandhi in the film. He also directed this movie. The film was scheduled to release on September 6, but the release date of the film was postponed after objections from the Censor Board.
