Rashid Kha announced on Twitter that he will give all the salary he gets in the World Cup cricket to the earthquake victims.He said that he will soon start a campaign to raise financial support.
Taliban officials said more than 9,000 people were injured in the earthquake.
More than 465 houses were destroyed due to the earthquake. Similarly, 135 houses were damaged.
