According to recent discussions, the iPhone 15 is set to be released in September 2024, featuring a “Super Telephoto” periscope zoom camera. This periscope zoom camera is expected to have a focal length greater than the usual 300mm found in typical cameras, making it significantly more powerful than the zoom capabilities of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
There are also rumors of the iPhone 15 Pro Max having a periscope zoom camera, which is said to be even more advanced than that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Additionally, the main camera of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to have a 12% larger sensor compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This larger sensor will likely be used for super telephoto cameras in sports and wildlife photography, and it will play a significant role in improving image quality in low-light conditions.
As of now, Apple has not officially released any statements regarding these speculations. However, these discussions provide insights into the potential improvements Apple is considering for its upcoming iPhone models’ cameras.
