The Chinese government’s discipline and inspection authorities have conducted a deep investigation into corruption issues in the first six months of this year and have found around 3.16 million corruption cases.
According to reports, the largest number of disciplinary actions was taken against 180,000 individuals, including regional or ministerial-level officials. Additionally, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission of the Chinese Communist Party have imposed disciplinary measures on 1.68 million officials. Among them, around 1.28 million officials faced more serious consequences.
During the investigation process, approximately 1.7 million cases of general misconduct were identified and dealt with by regulatory authorities. This indicates the Chinese government’s efforts to combat corruption and maintain discipline among its officials.
