Kathmandu- India has won the title of Kava Women’s Volleyball League held in Kathmandu.
India won the title by defeating Nepal 3-2 in the final match on Wednesday.
Although Nepal took the lead by winning the first set of the match, India played an excellent game and came back less. India won the second set, Nepal won the third set and India won the fourth set.
Similarly, India easily won the fifth set by 15-5.
With this, Nepal has become the runner-up of the competition. Likewise, Iran won the third place by defeating Sri Lanka 3-0 in straight sets in the third place match held today.
In this tournament, in which five countries participated, Sri Lanka came fourth, while Maldives was eliminated from the league stage.
