Sindhupalchok : Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA) is going to start ‘nationwide pressure campaign’ from today. The party president Ravi Lamichhane of the first phase of the campaign, which will continue till March 21, is launching the campaign from Melamchi.
Maya Gurung, coordinator of RASWP Sindhupalchok, informed the RAS that the ‘nationwide pressure campaign’ is going to start from Melamchi drinking water project site. She informed that she is going to start a campaign from the office premises of the project to pressurize the construction of the Melamchi water supply project.
MP Sovita Gautam will lead the Sindhupalchok-Kathmandu pressure journey. It is said that the program has been decided to start the trek from Melamchi water supply office, Peopleboat and reach Ambathan spring in Helambu. During the walk, it is said that the suggestions and complaints of the residents of the local settlements will also be taken.
21 people including MPs will lead the pressure journey. In the first phase of the campaign, three plans will be selected from each province and pressure will be put on building 21 plans. MP Gautam said that the RSVP is going to start a pressure campaign to draw the government’s attention to the work of the sick and stalled development projects.
